Khairulddin Wahab is a Singaporean artist whose artistic practice is informed by his research on the politics of visual representation and culture, and the philosophy of photography. Khairulddin’s interest in the image as source material for his painting reflects the context of an image-mediated world and its significance as a site for memory, knowledge, and authenticity. Working in the tradition of painting, assemblage, and installation, his practice contextures modes of remembering and retelling that are never fully apprehended.
